Cloud engineering involves the design and implementation of cloud-based systems and applications, leveraging cloud computing technologies and services to meet business needs effectively. At its core, cloud engineering emphasizes scalability, flexibility, and efficiency by utilizing the resources and capabilities offered by cloud providers like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. Cloud engineers architect solutions that leverage cloud infrastructure, such as virtual servers, storage, databases, and networking services, to build resilient and highly available applications.
In addition to architecture design and infrastructure automation, cloud engineering encompasses areas like security, performance optimization, and cost management. Cloud engineers prioritize security by implementing best practices for data protection, identity and access management, and compliance with regulatory standards.
